This Knightsbridge 10AX 3-gang 2-way switch features three independent rocker switches behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate. What does 2-way switching mean?

2-way switching allows each of the three circuits to be controlled from two separate switch locations. This is standard for hallways and staircases where lights need to be switched on at one end and off at the other, or in rooms with multiple doorways.

What back box depth is required?

A 16mm minimum mounting box depth is needed. The screwless cover plate adds 4.3mm projection from the wall once fitted, making this one of the slimmest profile switches available.

How is the screwless plate fitted?

A metal sub-frame is screwed to the back box during installation. Once wired, the brushed chrome cover plate clips onto this sub-frame, hiding all screws and fixings. The cover can be removed for redecorating without disturbing the wiring.
