Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 1-gang intermediate switch sits in the middle position of a three-switch lighting circuit, allowing a single light fitting to be controlled from three separate wall positions. It carries a 10AX rating, handling loads up to 2,300W on 230V mains, which covers most domestic lighting circuits including LED, halogen and incandescent fittings.

Designed for stairs, extended hallways and large rooms where lighting control is needed from multiple positions, the intermediate switch works in conjunction with two 2-way switches to complete the circuit. The flat plate design sits flush to the wall with a 2.5mm projection from the mounting box, and the metal rocker matches the brushed chrome faceplate for a uniform finish. A built-in gasket behind the plate provides a degree of moisture resistance and helps prevent dust ingress in high-traffic areas.

The 87.5mm square plate is constructed from premium-grade steel with a directional brushed chrome finish that softens reflections and pairs comfortably with stainless appliances, chrome taps and contemporary metal fixtures.
