Description

The Knightsbridge 10AX 1-gang DP switch provides double pole switching for dual-circuit control behind a matt black screwless faceplate. The 10AX rating handles loads up to 2,300W on 230V mains, making it suitable for bathroom fan boost controls, heater circuits, or any application where both live and neutral lines need to be isolated when switched off.

Designed for residential and commercial installation, the switch fits a shallow 16mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The built-in gasket behind the cover plate provides additional moisture resistance, and the IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor environments.

The matt black finish is a low-sheen powder-coated steel that minimises fingerprints and reflections, pairing comfortably with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors. The rocker switch sits flush within the plate aperture and matches the matt black finish across the entire faceplate. The switch is certified to EN 60669-1 and carries a 25-year warranty from Knightsbridge.
