Description

The Knightsbridge FP2000BC is a 10AX 1-gang 2-way light switch with a brushed chrome flat plate finish and matching rocker. The flat plate design sits just 2.5mm proud of the wall surface, creating an ultra-low profile fitting that pairs well with contemporary and industrial interiors. The brushed finish on the premium-grade steel plate softens reflections and resists visible fingerprints better than polished chrome.

The 2-way switching allows the light circuit to be controlled from two separate locations, making this switch suitable for hallways, staircases, bedrooms with entrance and bedside positions, and landing circuits. The 10AX rating handles lighting loads up to 2,300W on 230V mains. A built-in gasket behind the faceplate ensures a flush fit to the wall and prevents the plate from moving once installed.

The switch fits a standard 16mm minimum back box depth, which is shallower than the 25mm depth required for most sockets, making it compatible with installations where wall cavity space is limited. The flat plate is fixed with visible screws at top and bottom. The rocker mechanism is rated for 40,000 switching cycles and carries a 25-year warranty. The fitting is certified to EN 60669-1 and carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor use.
