Description

Pink is a rare thing on a wall plate, and this one carries it nicely: a flat screwless front in soft rose, with a chrome rocker sitting square in the middle. The plate measures 88mm across, small enough to read as a detail rather than a block of colour, and the face is clean with no fixing heads showing. Behind the rocker is a triple pole 10A switch, the sort used to isolate an extract fan, breaking the circuit fully rather than the switched line alone.

Bathrooms, shower rooms and cloakrooms are where it does most of its work, giving the fan a way of being made dead before anyone goes near it. It suits utility rooms and downstairs loos just as well, and the colour makes it easy to spot at a glance among plain white plates. We reach for it where a room has already committed to something brighter: a tiled bathroom with pink grout, a child's bathroom, a boldly painted cloakroom. If your walls are quiet, it still works as a single spot of colour by the door.

The plate is moulded from ABS with a smooth, even finish, and the mechanism is double insulated. Keep it for indoor rooms on household lighting circuits.
