Description
The Valentina is a 3 light wall fitting with an oxidized bronze metal frame, crystal bobeches under each candle arm, and polished glass crystal droplets suspended below. The fitting measures 484mm high by 273mm wide with a 123mm projection from the wall, and takes three E14 candle bulbs (sold separately, maximum 60W each). An antiqued mirror backplate sits behind the arms, reflecting candlelight back into the room.
Designed for hallways, living room feature walls and bedroom alcoves where wall space is available but ceiling fittings are impractical, the Valentina provides ambient and decorative light without occupying floor or table surface area. The oxidized bronze finish shows deliberate tarnishing and dark patina variation across the metalwork, giving the appearance of aged metal rather than freshly polished. The three arms curve outward from the central stem, each topped with a clear crystal bobeche that catches and refracts light from the bulb above.
The polished glass crystals hang on thin chain links below the main frame, moving slightly in air currents and adding visual interest even when the light is switched off. The antiqued mirror backplate measures approximately 350mm tall in an oval profile, showing deliberate foxing and clouding to match the aged aesthetic of the bronze frame. The combination of oxidized metal, clouded mirror glass and clear crystal creates a layered reflective effect when lit, particularly effective with warm-white 2700K bulbs that emphasise the bronze tones.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Valentina take?
The fitting takes three E14 small Edison screw candle bulbs, maximum 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K to complement the oxidized bronze finish and create a traditional candelabra effect.
How is the antiqued mirror backplate finished?
The oval mirror backplate behind the arms shows deliberate foxing, clouding and tarnish to match the aged aesthetic of the oxidized bronze frame. This is an intentional finish, not a defect, designed to replicate the appearance of vintage mirror glass.
Can the crystals be removed or cleaned?
The polished glass crystals hang on chain links and can be carefully detached for cleaning if needed. Wipe gently with a soft microfibre cloth dampened with distilled water, then dry immediately to avoid water spotting. Do not use household glass cleaners on the antiqued mirror backplate as they may damage the deliberate patina.
