Description

This is a tall floor urn vase shaped after classical designs, standing 49cm high with a footprint of 30cm by 30cm. It carries a broad flared opening that narrows into a rounded midsection, sitting on a spherical joint above a square plinth base. Cast from aluminium and finished in a grey stonewash, it has a soft chalky matt surface with a subtle grainy texture. At 2.8kg it feels substantial yet remains simple to move and reposition, giving you a piece with real presence for open floor or surface styling.

We think it suits entrance halls, hearths and quiet corners where a single sculptural shape can anchor a scheme. Use it empty as an architectural object, or fill it with dried stems, faux foliage or tall branches to draw the eye upward. The muted grey tone works with pale neutrals, warm woods and stone, and pairs well with country, classical and pared-back contemporary interiors. Group two or three at differing heights beside a doorway, or set one alone on a console or floor for a calm focal point. It is intended for indoor use only.

The body is formed from aluminium and given a stonewash treatment that leaves a matt, faintly grainy finish rather than a polished sheen. The flared bowl, ball detail and stepped plinth are all part of the single urn form, so the shape reads cleanly from every angle. This vase is not water safe, so keep it dry and use it with dry or artificial arrangements. To care for it, dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe gently with a barely damp cloth if needed, then dry straight away.
