Description

The QTX SW-2 is a high output snow effect machine built for large venues and seasonal events. It uses a heavy duty fan to convert snow fluid into a blizzard of foam particles, giving the impression of falling snow across a wide area. With 1200W of power and an output of 1765 cubic feet (50 cubic metres) per minute, it produces enough snow to fill big spaces for stage shows, themed installations and corporate events.

You get a wired remote with an on/off switch and a rotary volume control, so you can set the output to suit the room. If you prefer to run it from a lighting desk, the SW-2 supports DMX512 on a single channel controlling fan on/off and output from 1 to 100 percent. The removable 5 litre fluid tank makes topping up and cleaning straightforward, and we recommend using it with QTX snow fluid (160.578UK and 160.579UK) for reliable results.

Measuring 320 x 300 x 525mm and weighing 7.6kg, the SW-2 is manageable to position and move between events. It runs on a 220 to 240Vac supply at 50/60Hz with a standard IEC connection. Note that this is a foam based snow machine (also called a foam snow machine in some regions), so plan for a bit of residue where the snow lands. It is purpose built for professional use and holds up well through busy winter and party seasons.
