The QTX STH02 is a steel top hat fitting made for building into a speaker cabinet. Once fitted, it lets you mount the cabinet on a standard 35mm diameter speaker stand or pole, keeping the box at a sensible listening height and off the floor.

We supply this as a replacement or upgrade part for anyone assembling or repairing a passive or active speaker enclosure. The steel construction handles a maximum weight load of 25kg, so it suits most compact and mid-sized PA and disco cabinets. The 35mm bore matches the common pole size used across the industry, meaning it works with the majority of tripod stands and sub poles you already own.

Fitting is a straightforward job for anyone comfortable working on cabinets. The top hat recesses into the base of the box and is secured from inside, giving a firm seat for the pole to slot into. Note that in the US a stand pole of this type is often called a mounting pole rather than a stand, but the 35mm size is the same either way.
