Description

These QTX studio monitor stands come as a pair, giving you a sturdy base for small and mid sized nearfield monitor speakers. At 80cm tall, they lift your monitors off the desk or floor and towards ear height, which helps you hear what your speakers are actually doing. They suit studio work, home setups and smaller projects where you want a clean, stable platform without a lot of fuss.

Each stand is built from steel with a black finish, so they stay steady and blend into most rooms. The top plate measures 125mm x 125mm and the base measures 240mm x 240mm, giving a wide footing that keeps things planted. Floor spikes are supplied to add stability and to couple the stand to the floor, which helps cut down on unwanted movement and vibration passing between the stand and the surface below.

The spikes make them suitable for all floor surfaces, from carpet through to hard floors. Each stand takes a maximum load of 10kg, which covers most nearfield monitors in a home or project studio. If you are new to the term, a monitor is simply a studio speaker built for accurate sound rather than added bass or brightness. Set them up either side of your listening position, level them off, and you have a solid pair of stands ready to work.
