Description
The QTX QX15PA is a self-contained portable PA system built for easy transport and quick setup. Pull and carry handles plus wheels let you move it between rooms and venues without a struggle, and a 35mm pole/stand mount means you can raise it on a speaker stand when you need more coverage. It runs from the mains (220-240Vac) or its internal rechargeable battery, giving you up to 8 hours of use away from a power socket.
Two VHF wireless microphones are included on 174.1MHz and 175.0MHz, and there are two further mic inputs on 6.3mm jack, one of which doubles as a guitar input. The AUX input (3.5mm stereo jack) suits phones, tablets, laptops and mp3 players, while the RCA line in/out adds DJ connectivity and options for recording or expansion. An echo effect is on hand for the microphones, and the VCV 'voiceover' function automatically lowers the background music when a mic signal comes through, so announcements sit clearly over the top.
An inbuilt media player handles SD and USB media, an FM radio (also called an FM tuner) and paired Bluetooth 4.2 devices, all controllable from the supplied IR remote. The active amplifier delivers 50 + 50Wrms, paired with a 25mm titanium compression driver for the high frequencies and a dispersion of 90° x 60°. Front controls cover volume, bass, treble, echo, mic and VHF levels, contour, VCV and Bluetooth. Optional neck-worn transmitters are available on 174.1MHz and 175.0MHz for hands-free use.
