Description

The QTX QX12 is a compact, passive PA speaker cabinet built for multi-purpose sound reinforcement. The moulded enclosure is sturdy and durable, with a rigid steel grille protecting the drivers and an easy-carry handle for moving it between jobs. It suits a wide range of settings, from live bands and DJs to conference rooms and general public address work.

Inside the cabinet you'll find a titanium compression driver paired with a tuned ported design for efficient bass output. Deep porting and efficient drivers work together to reproduce a balanced sound that's evenly spread across the listening area. The cabinet runs at 8 Ohms and connects through 2 x SPK (Speakon) sockets, so you can wire it into most standard amplifiers and daisy-chain a second unit where needed.

Mounting is flexible. A 35mm integral top-hat socket lets you drop the cabinet onto a standard speaker pole (also called a speaker stand pole in the US), while built-in flying points allow the enclosure to hang from suspension wires. That makes the QX12 a practical choice whether you're setting up a temporary rig or fitting a more permanent install. As a passive cabinet, it needs an external amplifier to drive it, which keeps the box lighter and lets you match it to your own power setup.
