Description

The QTX QUEST-12 is a complete PA setup built around two 12-inch speaker cabinets: one active and one passive. The active cabinet holds the amplification and the built-in media player, while the passive satellite links to it using the supplied 6m connecting cable. This keeps your wiring simple and gives you left and right coverage from a single powered unit, which is handy for parties, small events, presentations and mobile setups.

The active cabinet has a USB and SD card player, a Bluetooth receiver and an FM radio receiver, so you can run music straight from a memory stick, an SD card, your phone or a radio station without extra kit. The 6m speaker cable (part 190.180UK) connects the two cabinets, and both sit on the pair of tripod speaker stands included in the set (part 180.550UK). The stands pack down into the supplied carry bag, so the whole rig moves easily between venues.

Everything you need to get sound out is in the box: the two QUEST cabinets, the link cable and the stands with their bag. This QUEST-12 version uses 12-inch drivers, and the same setup is available in three sizes if you want a smaller or larger option to suit the room. If you are new to PA gear, note that a passive speaker (sometimes called an unpowered speaker) needs the active one to drive it, which is exactly how this pair is designed to work together.
