Description

The QTX QR8K is a compact active PA speaker with a built-in amplifier and input section, so you can run it without a separate power amp. It handles up to 80W max and uses an 8 Ohm design, giving you a straightforward setup for smaller rooms and mobile jobs.

The input section has independent microphone and line channels, each with its own volume control. That makes it a sensible choice for DJs, vocalists and karaoke setups where you need to mix a mic against backing music. A titanium HF compression driver looks after the top end, while the moulded enclosure keeps the weight down and includes a carry handle for easy transport. Integral flying points and a 35mm pole mount (35mmO) let you rig the cabinet overhead or sit it on a speaker stand.

The QR8K sits in the wider QRK range alongside the larger QR12K and QR15K models, which add an echo effect and a speaker output for linking a second passive cabinet. If you want a small, self-contained active speaker for speech, vocals or light music playback, the QR8K covers the basics without asking you to carry extra kit. Note that a speaker cabinet is also called a speaker enclosure in some regions, and both terms refer to the same housing here.
