Description
The QTX QR10 is a compact, lightweight passive PA speaker built for general sound reinforcement. It uses a 10 inch driver paired with a titanium compression driver, housed in a moulded ABS enclosure that keeps the weight down while standing up to knocks on the road. A rigid steel grille protects the front, and an easy-carry handle makes it simple to move between jobs.
Connection is handled by SPK connectors (Speakon type), and the cabinet runs at 8 ohms impedance. Multiple mounting points are built in, including M8 and M6 fixings, so you can array the speakers in different combinations to match the room. There is also a 35mm integral top-hat for pole mounting (also called stand mounting in the US), letting you lift the box to ear height with a standard speaker pole.
Because the enclosure is shockproof and moulded, the QR10 suits a wide spread of uses, from small halls and function rooms through to larger venues and nightclubs. Whether you need a fixed install or a portable rig, the mix of light weight, solid protection and flexible mounting makes it a practical choice. Pair it with a suitable amplifier to get the level and coverage your space needs.

Frequently Asked
What size driver does the QR10 use?
It uses a 10 inch driver combined with a titanium compression driver for the higher frequencies.
Is the QR10 active or passive?
It is a passive speaker, so you will need a separate amplifier to power it.
What is the impedance?
The QR10 is rated at 8 ohms, which suits most standard PA amplifiers.
Can I mount it on a speaker stand?
Yes. It has a 35mm integral top-hat for pole mounting on a standard speaker stand, plus M8 and M6 fixing points for other mounting options.
What connectors does it have?
It uses SPK connectors, commonly known as Speakon type, for the speaker signal.
