Description
The QTX Q1000 is a stereo power amplifier built to work hard in venues, for DJs and for live performers. It delivers 2 x 500W across two channels, giving you the headroom to drive a pair of passive speakers with plenty of level to spare. We designed it as a reliable workhorse, so it holds up to regular use without fuss.
Connections are flexible at both ends. On the input side you get 6.3mm jack (also called a quarter-inch jack) or RCA (phono) sockets for the left and right channels, with an input sensitivity of 775mV at 10k Ohms. Outputs cover SPK connectors, 6.3mm jack and 4mm binding posts, so you can wire it into most speaker setups. Frequency response runs from 20Hz to 20kHz, with a signal-to-noise ratio over 98dB and THD under 0.5%.
The Q1000 is fan cooled to keep temperatures in check during long sessions, and it fits a standard 19-inch rack at 2U high. Power comes from a 230Vac, 50Hz IEC mains supply, so it slots straight into UK rig setups. This is part of the QTX Q Series range of stereo power amplifiers, giving you a straightforward, dependable amp for accurate playback night after night.
