Description
The QTX Harrier-1500 is a 1500W fog machine, also called a smoke machine, built to fill larger venues quickly. Its design lets you aim the jet vertically or horizontally, so you can push smoke straight up over a stage or out across a floor. Output runs to around 32,000 cubic feet per minute, giving you plenty of volume for club nights, parties and events where you want a fast, dense effect.
Housed within the unit are 24 bright 3W LEDs that add colour to the smoke, turning a plain jet into a full light show. You can run everything from the built-in control panel with its LCD display, from the supplied 433MHz keyfob-style RF wireless remote, or through 7-channel DMX for tighter integration with the rest of your rig. That gives you options whether you're working solo or plugging into a larger lighting setup.
The 2.5 litre fluid tank lifts out for easy refilling, and a slot window shows you the fluid level at a glance. A low fluid protection switch shuts things down if the tank runs dry, so the pump isn't damaged if it's left running. The machine ships with UK and EU twist-and-lock mains leads, and at 9.2kg it stays portable enough to move between gigs. It measures 215 x 360 x 410mm and runs on a 220-240V supply, taking around 5 to 6 minutes to warm up before use.

Frequently Asked
Can the fog be aimed in different directions?
Yes. The Harrier-1500 can produce either a vertical or horizontal smoke jet, so you can send fog straight up over a stage or push it out across a floor to fill a room.
How do I control the machine?
You have three options: the in-built control panel with LCD display, the supplied 433MHz keyfob-style RF wireless remote, or 7-channel DMX for use within a larger lighting rig.
How much fluid does the tank hold?
The removable tank holds 2.5 litres. It lifts out for refilling and has a slot window so you can check the level without opening anything up.
What happens if it runs out of fluid?
An integrated low fluid protection switch stops the unit if the tank is empty, which prevents damage if it's left running unattended.
How long does it take to warm up?
The machine needs around 5 to 6 minutes to warm up before it will produce fog.
Does it come with the right mains lead for the UK?
Yes. It's supplied with both UK and EU twist-and-lock mains leads, so it's ready to run in either region.
