Description

The NU-X Zeus Jr. follows on from the original Zeus power supply, built for players running more compact pedalboards. It keeps the same double isolated power circuit that helps eliminate the hum and noise that can creep into a pedal chain, so your signal stays clean from the first pedal to the last. If you use a multi-pedal rig where noise has been a problem, this is a straightforward way to sort it out.

The unit gives you six outputs in total. Three deliver 9Vdc at up to 500mA each, and a fourth provides 9Vdc at 300mA, which covers most standard pedals. Two further outputs have selectable 9, 12 or 18V settings for pedals that need or can handle different voltages. Every output is fully isolated, so there's no crosstalk between pedals sharing the supply. It's powered from the mains (US: wall outlet) through an in-line DC switching adaptor.

We supply the Zeus Jr. with six DC5521 angled power leads, plus a reverse polarity lead and a DC minijack lead, so you can handle most pedal input types out of the box. At 90 x 88 x 24mm and 184g, it tucks under a board or sits neatly alongside a smaller setup without taking up much room. Maximum power output is 21.6W.

Specification
Power supply 100-240Vac, 50/60Hz (IEC with 15Vdc in-line adaptor)

Dimensions 90mm x 88mm x 24mm
Weight 0.18KG

Frequently Asked

How many pedals can the Zeus Jr. power?

It has six isolated outputs: four at 9Vdc and two with selectable 9/12/18V settings, which covers most compact to mid-size boards.

What voltages does it supply?

Four outputs run at 9Vdc, and two more can be set to 9, 12 or 18V for pedals that need a higher voltage.

What is the current capacity per output?

Three 9Vdc outputs give up to 500mA each, and a fourth provides 300mA. This suits most standard and higher-draw pedals.

What leads come in the box?

You get six DC5521 angled power leads, plus a reverse polarity lead and a DC minijack lead to cover most pedal input types.

How is it powered?

From the mains via an in-line DC switching power supply, taking 100-240Vac at 50/60Hz through an IEC input with a 15Vdc adaptor.

Are the outputs isolated?

Yes, the double isolated power circuit keeps each output separate, which helps stop noise and crosstalk in your pedal chain.
