Description

The NU-X Mighty Space is a portable modelling amplifier for guitar and bass, with a full stereo speaker system built around two 4-inch coaxial full-range drivers. Its TSAC high definition processing gives you access to 34 internal impulse response profiles plus room for 20 of your own, so you can dial in accurate amp and speaker models. Switch between dedicated guitar and bass modes, then shape your sound with a multi-effects section split into 7 blocks. You can save up to 7 user presets and recall them from the top panel or the supplied NMP-2 foot switch.

Wireless play is built in. A plug-in 2.4GHz transmitter drops straight into your instrument's input jack and recharges from the amp, giving you freedom to move without a cable. Bluetooth 4.2 lets you stream backing tracks from a phone or tablet to jam along to, or use the amp as a standalone music player. There is a built-in drum and loop machine for practice, and the dedicated Mighty Air app for Android and iOS handles deeper editing. A USB type-C port doubles as a PC/Mac interface and charges the amp from any 2A USB source.

At 30W the Mighty Space is a step up from a standard practice amp, so it works for group rehearsals and small performances as well as home use. The internal 11.1V 5000mAh battery runs for up to 7 hours, and the transmitter lasts up to 3 hours per charge. A 15Vdc 2.5A power adaptor is supplied. The amplifier measures 363 x 171 x 171mm and weighs 4.06kg, with a 3.5mm stereo headphone output for quiet practice.
