Description

This Mercury 4-way signal splitter takes one incoming aerial (antenna) feed and shares it across four coaxial outputs. It handles wideband UHF, VHF and FM signals, so you can run separate leads to televisions, radios or other receivers from a single source. The build is compact, which makes it easy to tuck behind a TV, inside a cabinet or alongside other kit in a media unit.

The layout is straightforward: one coaxial plug goes in, and four coaxial sockets send the signal out. It covers a frequency range of 5 to 890MHz, giving you room for the common terrestrial broadcast bands used across UK homes. Because it is a passive splitter, no external power is needed, so you simply connect your leads and go. Do bear in mind that splitting a signal spreads it across the outputs, so a strong incoming feed helps keep all four connections working well.

We supply this unit in bulk, which suits installers and anyone fitting out more than one room. It works with standard coaxial cables, so it slots into most existing aerial setups without special adaptors. If you are feeding several TVs or radios from one aerial and want a simple, tidy way to do it, this splitter does the job without fuss or extra hardware. Match it with quality coaxial leads for the best results on each output.

Frequently Asked

How many outputs does this splitter have?

It has four coaxial sockets fed from a single coaxial input plug, so you can run four separate leads from one aerial source.

What signals does it work with?

It handles wideband UHF, VHF and FM signals across a frequency range of 5 to 890MHz.

Does it need a power supply?

No. This is a passive splitter, so it works without any external power. You just connect your leads.

Will splitting the signal reduce quality?

Splitting spreads the incoming signal across all four outputs, so a strong feed helps. A weak signal may benefit from an amplifier before the splitter.

What cables does it use?

It uses standard coaxial cables, with one plug in and four sockets out, so it fits most common aerial setups.

Is it sold individually?

This listing is supplied in bulk, which suits installers or fitting out several rooms at once.
