Description
This LYYT COB LED tape gives you 30 metres of warm white light on a single reel, ready to cut to length as your job needs. The domed frosted extrusion covers the LEDs with a smooth silicone surface, so you get an even run of light without dot spotting and without fitting a separate profile or channel. The COB (chip-on-board) layout packs the emitters close together, which is what keeps the line looking continuous rather than showing individual points.
It runs at 24V DC and draws 11W per metre, with a warm white colour temperature of 2700K. The tape is 10mm wide and just 4.5mm high, so it tucks into shallow recesses and coving with room to spare. With an IP66 rating and a working range of -40°C to +55°C, it holds up in kitchens, bathrooms and outdoor-adjacent spots as well as standard interior use. The adhesive backing lets you press it into place, and cut points fall every 50mm (the cut marks sit under the adhesive layer).
For a clean install we recommend a maximum run of 10 metres from a single power supply, so plan your feed points accordingly across the full 30m reel. The 110 degree beam angle spreads light wide, which suits wall washing, under-cabinet lighting and general accent work in both home and commercial settings. Installation accessories, including connectors and end caps, are available separately. This version is warm white, with natural white (4000K) and cool white (5000K) also offered in the range.

Frequently Asked
Can I cut this LED tape to length?
Yes. It can be cut every 50mm along the reel. The cut marks sit under the adhesive layer, so peel back to check the exact point before you trim.
What is the longest run from one power supply?
We recommend a maximum run of 10 metres from a single power supply. Across the full 30m reel you will need to plan multiple feed points.
Do I need a separate aluminium profile or channel?
No. The domed frosted silicone extrusion diffuses the light itself, giving a smooth even line without a separate profile. You can still use accessories if you prefer a mounted finish.
Is it suitable for damp or outdoor use?
The tape is IP66 rated and works from -40°C to +55°C, so it copes with damp areas like bathrooms and sheltered outdoor spots. For fully exposed positions, check the connection points are protected.
What power supply does it need?
It runs on 24V DC and draws 11W per metre. Size your driver to the total wattage of the length you install, with headroom, and keep runs within the 10m recommendation.
What colour options are available?
