Description

Our LYYT wide flush mounted plaster-in profile gives you a way to build LED tape into walls and ceilings for a more permanent fixture. The channel sinks into the surface so the light sits flush with the plaster, leaving a clean modern finish once the wall is skimmed. It's a good choice when you want the glow without the profile standing proud of the surface.

The profile measures 1m and can be cut to length to suit your run. It takes 1 or 2 pieces of LED tape (US: LED strip) between 8 and 12mm wide, and comes with a white diffuser that clips in with an easy snap-fit for a soft, ambient glow rather than visible dots. A 3mm lip lets the plasterer lay a good bed of plaster around the profile, which reduces the chance of cracking along the edge once it dries.

The external cross-section is 76 x 11.5mm and the internal channel is 27 x 11mm, with the diffuser visible width at 27mm. Each profile is packaged individually in a recyclable tube, so it reaches you undamaged and stays protected in storage. This is a plaster-in profile, so it's intended for fitting during or before plastering rather than surface mounting onto a finished wall. Pair it with your chosen tape and driver to complete the installation.
