Description

The Lucia is a 155cm modern floor lamp built around a sculptural hemisphere shade, mounted on a slim matt black stem with a circular weighted base. The shade is formed from two intersecting half-domes in smoked tinted glass, with a central black sphere housing the integrated 12W LED. Light at 3000K passes through the tinted glass to cast a warm, partially diffused glow.

Sized for use beside a sofa, armchair or console, the Lucia works as a sculptural accent rather than a primary task light. The hemisphere shade sits at roughly head height when seated, directing soft ambient light forward and downward into a reading or seating zone. The slim vertical stem and compact base footprint mean the lamp slots into corners and tight floor positions without crowding adjacent furniture.

The 30cm shade diameter keeps the visual mass concentrated at the head of the lamp, leaving the matt black metal stem visually quiet against most wall colours. The integrated LED removes the need to source a bulb and provides a long service life at lower energy draw than a comparable halogen fitting. The combination of warm 3000K colour temperature and tinted glass produces a softer evening light suited to lounges, bedrooms and snug spaces rather than bright work areas.
