Description

The Knightsbridge Torlan is a 4ft (1263mm) non-corrosive batten with selectable wattage (19W or 37W) and colour temperature (3000K, 4000K or 5700K) controlled via internal switches. The housing is constructed from anti-corrosive polycarbonate with an opal diffuser held by stainless steel clips, and carries IP65 weatherproofing and IK08 impact resistance ratings. At 19W the integrated SMD LED delivers 3,015 lumens at 4000K; at 37W it delivers 5,550 lumens at 4000K.

Designed for commercial, industrial and outdoor environments where moisture, dust and impact are present, the Torlan suits car parks, loading bays, warehouses, agricultural buildings, canopies and external corridors. The IP65 rating protects against low-pressure water jets and dust ingress, while the IK08 rating protects against 5-joule impacts (equivalent to a 1.7kg mass dropped from 300mm). The batten mounts directly to ceilings or soffits via the top surface; suspension mounting requires an additional accessory kit.

The selectable wattage and colour temperature reduce the need to stock multiple variants. An installer can adjust output between 19W and 37W on site depending on the space size and required light level, and choose warm white (3000K), neutral white (4000K) or cool white (5700K) to suit the application.
