Description

The Knightsbridge TRLED14 is a 4ft (1263mm) LED non-corrosive batten delivering 2650 lumens of 4000K cool white light from an integrated 23W LED. The polycarbonate body and opal diffuser are rated IP65 against dust and water jets, making the fitting suitable for damp environments, outdoor canopies, workshops, storage facilities and car parks where moisture, dust or light impact are regular concerns.

Designed as a direct replacement for fluorescent tube battens, the fitting mounts to ceilings or walls using the supplied 10 lockable clips and fixing accessories. The clips allow the batten to be surface-mounted onto masonry, plasterboard or steel joists without additional brackets. The opal diffuser spreads the LED light across a 120-degree beam, reducing harsh shadows and glare in work areas.

The constant current LED driver runs on 230V 50Hz mains and provides 50,000 hours of rated life (L70B50 standard), meaning the LED will still deliver at least 70% of its original brightness after 50,000 hours of continuous use. The polycarbonate body resists impact better than acrylic and withstands outdoor UV exposure without yellowing or cracking over the first several years of installation. The grey finish blends into industrial ceilings without drawing visual attention.

At 140.71 lm/W efficacy and 23W power draw, the batten consumes approximately 60% less energy than a twin 36W fluorescent tube fitting while delivering comparable light output. The non-dimmable driver is optimised for reliability in continuously-lit environments such as warehouses, stairwells and covered loading bays.

Yes. The IP65 rating protects the fitting against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for outdoor canopies, loading bays, covered walkways and external building perimeters where the fitting is mounted under a soffit or overhang.

Is this a direct replacement for fluorescent tube battens?

Yes. The 1263mm length closely matches a standard 4ft fluorescent batten footprint. The integrated LED removes the need for separate tubes and starters, and the constant current driver requires only mains connection with no additional control gear.

Is the batten dimmable?

No. The constant current driver is non-dimmable and optimised for reliability in continuously-lit industrial and commercial environments.
