These GP Ultra Alkaline AAA batteries come in a pack of 12, giving you a ready supply for the everyday electronics around your home. They're made for applications where a high current is needed over longer periods, so they hold up well in devices that draw steady power rather than the odd short burst.

We find them a good match for digital cameras, remote controls and MP3 players, along with plenty of other portable gear like torches, clocks, wireless keyboards and children's toys. Keeping a pack in the drawer takes the fuss out of flat batteries at an awkward moment.

AAA is the standard small cylindrical cell, sometimes labelled LR03, and each battery runs at 1.5 volts.
