The GP Ultra+ AA Alkaline Batteries give you high performance power in a familiar 1.5V cell. This is the AA size (also written as LR6), the most common battery format for everyday electronics, and each pack holds four cells ready to use straight away. They last around 30% longer than the standard GP Ultra range, so you get more running time between changes.

We find these work well in devices that draw a steady amount of power, such as digital cameras and MP3 players, along with other digital electronic equipment around the home. The alkaline chemistry holds a reliable charge and copes with the kind of demand that quickly drains cheaper cells. If you run torches, remote controls, games controllers or wireless mice, these are a sensible choice too.

The batteries come in retail friendly packaging with a euro hook, so they are easy to store and hang if you keep a few spares in a drawer or workshop. Each cell is a single-use (primary) battery, meaning they are not rechargeable and should be recycled once spent.
