Across our Eos Evia range we stock three sizes, and this is the Mini in white, a single specification that keeps things simple. It stands as a tall drum with a flat top, built from approximately 1500 goose feathers layered over a textile and steel structure. The soft white feathers give it a light, airy quality that catches the eye without shouting, and we like how it settles gently against the fittings we pair it with. At 26cm in height and 30cm in diameter, it holds a neat, compact shape that suits a table lamp base or a smaller fitting where a fuller size would feel too much.

We chose goose feathers because they carry a natural softness that few materials match, and every one of them is sourced to the RDS Standard, which matters to us. The steel frame keeps the form steady while the textile layer holds the feathers in place, so the whole lampshade weighs just 0.2kg and stays easy to lift and position. When it is lit, the white feathers diffuse the glow into a warm, textured wash rather than a hard beam, and unlit it reads as a quiet cloud of pale plumage. It is the kind of piece we return to when we want gentle light with a bit of character behind it.

Assembly takes around 5 minutes, so there is very little standing between unboxing and switching it on.
