Description
The Crown is a 3 light chandelier built around hexagonal metal tubing finished in hand-painted graphite grey with a water droplet texture. Three candle-style arms extend from a central stem, each fitted with an E14 bulb holder (bulbs sold separately). A decorative fretwork band wraps the horizontal tier, adding visual weight and texture to the frame without increasing the physical footprint.
Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, the Crown sits at 562mm diameter and 457mm height excluding chain. The minimum drop of 559mm includes the ceiling rose and shortens the chain to its lowest setting, while the maximum drop of 2083mm allows the chandelier to be suspended in double-height spaces or over stairwells. The chain is adjustable on installation to suit the room height and intended mounting position.
The graphite finish is applied by hand in multiple coats, creating subtle tonal variation and a textured surface that catches light differently from flat powder-coated metal. The hexagonal tubing gives the frame a faceted profile rather than the smooth round bars seen on most traditional chandeliers, adding visual interest when viewed from different angles. The fretwork band is pierced metal rather than solid, so it casts shadow patterns onto surrounding walls when the bulbs are lit.
The frame weighs approximately 3kg and mounts to a standard UK ceiling rose using the included chain and ceiling plate. The three E14 bulb holders accept candle-shaped LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to 60W each, giving flexibility to choose the light temperature and brightness that suits the room. The graphite finish pairs with cool greys, charcoal, white, and warm-toned wood interiors equally well.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Crown take?
The chandelier has three E14 (small Edison screw) bulb holders. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with candle-shaped LED bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for a warm traditional look, or clear filament bulbs for a more decorative appearance.
What ceiling height is needed?
The minimum drop of 559mm suits rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards. For dining tables the chandelier typically hangs 700-900mm above the table surface. The chain is adjustable on installation, and the maximum drop of 2083mm allows it to be used in double-height entrance halls or over stairwells.
Is the fretwork band solid or pierced?
The fretwork band is pierced metal, not solid. When the bulbs are lit, the band casts decorative shadow patterns onto surrounding walls and ceilings, adding to the visual effect.
How is the graphite finish applied?
The finish is hand-painted in multiple coats with a water droplet texture, creating subtle tonal variation across the frame. This means each chandelier has slight differences in surface texture and tone, which is characteristic of the hand-finishing process.
