Corinne 3 Light Orb Chandelier - Polished Nickel

The Corinne is a 432mm orb chandelier built from intersecting polished nickel hoops that form a spherical cage around three E14 candle bulbs mounted on a central vertical stem. The hoops curve outward from top and bottom hubs, creating an open lattice structure that allows light to radiate through the gaps between the metal bands. The polished nickel finish reflects ambient room light and bounces candlelight off the inner surfaces of the hoops.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Corinne works as a centrepiece where its symmetry and open structure can be appreciated from multiple angles. The adjustable chain drop of 1524mm allows the chandelier to be set between 679mm and 2159mm below the ceiling rose during installation, giving flexibility to suit different ceiling heights and table positions. The three-bulb configuration provides sufficient light for a 4-6 seat dining table or a 2.5-3m entrance hall.

The polished nickel bands are approximately 25mm wide and sit flush against each other at the top and bottom hubs, where they're mechanically secured before being electroplated. This gives the orb a continuous, flowing appearance rather than a bolted-together look. The central canopy and chain are also polished nickel, maintaining finish consistency across the entire fitting. At 432mm diameter the Corinne sits comfortably in rooms with 3m+ ceilings without overwhelming smaller spaces, and the open orb structure prevents the fitting from visually closing off sightlines through a room.

What bulbs does it take?

The Corinne takes three E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs, sold separately. Each socket is rated to a maximum of 60W, though most users pair this with LED candle bulbs of 4-6W each in warm white (2700K-3000K) to replicate traditional candlelight.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

The chain drop is adjusted during installation by shortening the 1524mm chain to the required length. Once installed and the ceiling rose is secured, the drop is fixed. The minimum drop of 679mm and maximum of 2159mm give substantial range to suit different ceiling heights.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 679mm minimum drop plus the 527mm fitting height means the chandelier extends at least 1206mm below the ceiling rose. For a dining table installation with typical 700-800mm clearance above the table surface, a ceiling height of 2.4m or above is recommended.

How is the polished nickel maintained?

Polished nickel can be wiped with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or light tarnish, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal polishes, which can damage the electroplated finish.
