Description

The Citronic X24 turns a wired dynamic microphone into a frequency-hopping digital wireless system. You connect the X24 transmitter to your handheld mic and plug the receiver into a channel input on your mixing console (mixing desk). Pairing is fast and automatic, so you can be up and running with very little fuss. It runs on the license-free 2.4GHz band, giving a noise-free and wire-free link without the paperwork that some radio systems require.

The X24 works just as well from the output of a mixer to the input of an active speaker, which is handy where cabling is awkward or inconvenient. Both the transmitter and receiver are rechargeable via USB-C, and a split charging lead is included so you can top up both units from a standard USB charger. Charging takes around 1.5 hours and gives you 4 to 5 hours of use. Latency stays under 15ms, and the working range is up to 30m in free air.

Two XLR to jack adaptors are supplied, converting the XLR connection into a 6.3mm plug (1/4 inch jack) for line level or instrument use. Selectable +12V phantom power lets you power condenser sources where needed. It is a neat, compact tool for performers, presenters and mobile entertainers who want a hassle-free wireless connection. The transmitter measures 113 x 30 x 24mm and the receiver 110 x 30 x 24mm, so both stay tidy on stage or in a bag.
