Description

The Citronic TU4-HTX is a replacement handheld transmitter for the Citronic TU4 wireless UHF system. If you have added a receiver channel, lost a mic or simply need a spare to keep a set running, this gives you a like-for-like unit that pairs straight back into your existing setup. It works on the same UHF carrier frequencies as the system, covering the 823-832MHz and 863-865MHz bands.

Setup is handled from the TU4 receiver using I.R. sync, so you point the transmitter at the receiver and programme it across without fiddling through menus on the handset itself. Up to four transmitters can run with a single TU4 receiver, which makes this a useful addition if you are building out a multi-mic setup for a band, a panel or a venue that needs more than one live source at a time.

The microphone (or mic) uses a dynamic cardioid capsule, which picks up sound from the front and rejects noise coming from the sides and rear. That helps keep feedback down when you are working close to speakers. It runs on 2 x AA batteries, which are not supplied, and measures 258 x 47mm in diameter. Weight is 354g without batteries fitted, so it sits comfortably in the hand through longer sessions.

Specification
Batteries 2 x AA (not supplied)
Carrier frequencies 823-832MHz / 863-865MHz
Capsule Dynamic cardioid
Dimensions 258mm x 47mmØ
Weight 0.35KG
