Description

The Citronic TU4-BTX is a replacement bodypack transmitter for the TU4 wireless UHF system. It clips to a belt or waistband and pairs with Citronic neckband and lavalier (lapel) microphones fitted with a Mini XLR connection, so you can swap in a fresh unit or add another performer to an existing setup without buying a whole new system.

You can run up to four transmitters with a single TU4 receiver, which makes it a sensible choice for presentations, teaching and small stage work where more than one person needs to speak. Setup is handled by the receiver itself using I.R. sync, so the transmitter picks up its channel settings from the receiver rather than needing separate manual programming on the pack.

The unit works across the 823-832MHz and 863-865MHz carrier frequency ranges and runs on 2 x AA batteries, which are not supplied. It measures 90 x 60 x 25mm and weighs 74g without a battery fitted, so it sits comfortably on the body during longer sessions. Because it uses the standard Mini XLR fitting, it accepts the range of Citronic bodypack mics you may already own, keeping running costs down and giving you a straightforward spare to have on hand.
