Description
The Citronic TU2-H is a true diversity UHF wireless microphone system with two individually programmable channels. Each channel syncs to its transmitter to set the carrier frequency, EQ settings, transmission power and even the display backlight colour, which makes identifying channels straightforward when you are running more than one. Both channels sit within the license-free UHF band (863-865MHz) in the UK and EU, so you can use the system without a license. Additional channel 65 frequencies (823-832MHz) are available if you hold a PMSE license.
This set includes two handheld transmitters, each fitted with a dynamic capsule in a full metal housing for reliable everyday use. Bodypack versions of the TU-series are supplied with both a neckband and a lavalier (lapel) microphone, and all transmitters use a fully balanced signal connection. The receiver offers individual XLR outputs or a single mix jack output, along with independent 7-band EQ for each channel so you can shape the sound to suit the room. Twin BNC antennas (aerials) connect at the rear, or at the front panel when the unit is 19-inch rack-mounted, using the supplied BNC extension cables.
Setup runs through a full colour TFT display with a rotary encoder for adjustments, and an auto frequency sweep function helps you find clear channels quickly. Each channel has a backlit display matching the one on its transmitter, syncing wirelessly over an IR connection so you avoid fiddling with controls on the mic itself. Wireless range reaches up to 60m, and each transmitter runs on 2 x AA batteries, which are supplied. The TU-series suits stage work, conferences, theatrical productions and general vocal duties where you need a dependable, adaptable system.
