Description

The Citronic TU1-N is a true diversity UHF wireless microphone system with a single individually programmable channel. The transmitter syncs to the receiver to set the carrier frequency, EQ settings, transmission power and even the display backlight colour, which helps you identify channels at a glance. This set is supplied as a bodypack (beltpack) transmitter with a choice of neckband and lavalier (lapel) microphones, both offering a fully balanced signal connection.

Setup and adjustment happen through a front panel full colour TFT display with a rotary encoder. The transmitter carries its own backlit display that mirrors the receiver, and settings sync wirelessly over an IR connection, so you avoid fiddling with multiple controls on the transmitter itself. Each channel is tuneable within the license-free UHF and regulated duplex gap bands, arranged in 8 groups of 8 to 16 carrier frequencies, with an auto frequency sweep function and independent 7-band EQ per channel. Twin BNC antennas (aerials) connect at the rear, or to the front panel when 19-inch rack-mounted using the supplied BNC extension cables.

Outputs cover both individual XLR and a single mix jack, giving you flexibility depending on your mixer or interface. Operation is license-free in the 863-865MHz range across the UK and EU, while the additional channel 65 frequencies (823-832MLater 832MHz) can be used with a PMSE license. Wireless range reaches up to 60m, and true diversity antennas with internal distribution keep the signal steady. The transmitter runs on 2 x AA batteries, supplied. This makes the TU1-N a practical choice for stage performances, conferences, theatrical productions and general vocal duties.
