Description

The Citronic TU1-H is a true diversity UHF wireless microphone system built around a single, individually programmable channel that syncs to its transmitter. The sync sets the carrier frequency, EQ settings, transmission power and even the display backlight colour, which helps you tell channels apart at a glance. This set ships with one handheld transmitter fitted with a dynamic capsule in a full metal housing, so it holds up to regular stage and event use.

Each channel is tuneable within the license-free UHF band (863-865MHz) for use across the UK and EU, with additional channel 65 frequencies (823-832MHz) available under a PMSE license. Frequencies are arranged in 8 groups of 8 to 16 carriers, and an auto frequency sweep function helps you find a clear one quickly. The receiver uses twin BNC antennas (aerials) that connect at the rear, or to the front panel when 19-inch rack-mounted using the supplied BNC extension cables, with an internal distro feeding the diversity circuit.

Setup runs through a full colour TFT display and rotary encoder on the front panel, and settings pass to the transmitter wirelessly over an IR connection, so you avoid fiddling with multiple controls on the mic itself. There's a 7-band EQ per channel, individual XLR outputs or a single mix jack output, and a wireless range up to 60m. Two AA batteries are supplied per transmitter. The TU-series suits stage performances, conferences, theatre and general vocal work where you need a dependable, adaptable radio mic setup.
