Description

The Citronic ST-1T8 is a 25mm (1") silk dome tweeter built as a replacement driver for the ST-series monitors. It uses a high density neodymium magnet, which keeps the magnet weight down to 40g while still giving a strong field behind the voice coil. The dome sits in a circular face-plate, so it drops neatly into place when you need to swap out an original unit.

With an impedance of 8 Ohms, the ST-1T8 handles 15W RMS and 30W peak, and covers a frequency response of 3kHz to 20kHz. That range makes it a straightforward high-frequency driver for the top end of a two-way or three-way monitor, taking over where the mid or bass driver leaves off. The 25mm voice coil matches the dome size and helps the tweeter track detail cleanly across its working band.

Physically the unit measures 20mm deep with a 74mm diameter face-plate, and weighs 56g. If you have a Citronic ST-series monitor with a failed or damaged tweeter, this is the direct replacement part rather than a general-purpose driver. Fitting one back into the existing cabinet keeps the monitor performing as intended, and the silk dome gives a smooth response at the top of the range.
