We designed the Citronic SAT12 as a straightforward way to cut down noise in rooms where sound bounces around too much. Each tile measures 600 x 600mm and is 12mm thick, made from compressed polyester fibre that keeps the weight down to just 610g. That light build means you can fit them to walls or ceilings without heavy fixings, and they sit neatly in a grid if you want to cover a larger area.

The polyester fibre does the real work here, absorbing sound rather than reflecting it back into the room. This makes the tiles a sensible choice for recording spaces, rehearsal rooms, home studios and offices where speech clarity matters. They also help around living spaces where you simply want to soften echo and reduce the general noise level. The material is fire retardant, which gives you some reassurance when fitting them in busy or shared environments.

Because the tiles are square and modular, you can plan your layout to suit the room.
