Description

The Citronic S6J-XM600 is a shielded audio lead built to carry a balanced signal between a 6.3mm stereo TRS jack plug (also called a 1/4-inch jack) and a male XLR connector. It runs to 6 metres, which suits stage and studio setups where you need to route audio across a reasonable distance without stretching or strain. The connectors are die-cast for a solid feel and dependable long-term use.

Inside, the cable uses pure copper conductors, with two runs of 20-strand 0.1mm wire, plus cotton reinforcement to help the lead hold up to repeated coiling and handling. The outer jacket is a soft-grip, rubberised, anti-tangle design measuring 6mm in diameter, so it stays flexible and easy to pack away. Connections are machine-soldered for consistency across the join, and the shielding helps keep interference out of your signal.

The pin-out follows a standard balanced wiring scheme: sleeve to pin 1, tip to pin 2, and ring to pin 3. That makes it a straightforward choice for connecting balanced sources such as a mixer output or DI box to an XLR input. If you work with live sound, recording, or fixed installs, this lead gives you a reliable connection with clean audio and hardware that stands up to regular use.
