This Citronic lead splits a single 6.3mm stereo TRS jack plug into two 6.3mm mono jack plugs, giving you an insert or Y-cable for mixing desks, patch bays and signal processors. It measures 1.5m, which suits most rack and desk setups where you need to send and return a signal on separate mono connections. In the UK we tend to call these jack plugs, while in the US you'll often see them listed as phone plugs or 1/4-inch plugs, so both terms refer to the same connector.

The cable itself is a twin 5mm design, roughly 5 x 10mm across the pair, with each core carrying 12 strands of 0.1mm pure copper.
