Description

The Citronic RACK:8X is an 8U 19" equipment rack (rack case) built for mobile use. Both the front and top lids come off completely, so you can get to your gear from more than one side while you set up or pack down. The rear access panel gives you a clear route to cabling and connections without pulling everything out of the frame.

Wheels are supplied and can be fitted when you need to move the rack around, which is handy for touring, hire work or moving between rooms in a venue. On top there's a ratchet-style tilt-up mixer rack that mounts a 19" (10U) mixer and angles it towards you, so you can read and reach the controls from a standing position. The tilt sits at the angle you set it, then folds back down for transport.

The case itself is robust and takes a maximum weight load of 250kg, so it copes with a full stack of amplifiers, processors and other 19" (rackmount) units. Combining an 8U body with a 10U mixer position gives you a single unit for both your rackmount kit and your desk, which keeps a mobile rig tidy and quicker to load in and out. If you run PA hire, a DJ setup or a small studio that moves, this gives you a wheeled base and a working mixer surface in one case.
