Description

We built the Citronic RACK:6U to keep your 19" audio equipment safe on the road. It takes standard rack-mount gear such as amplifiers, mixers and processors, and gives you 6U of mounting space to work with. The case is made from 9mm vinyl laminated plywood, with washers fitted on all the rivets to strengthen the joints and stop the wood from splitting over time.

Both the front and rear lids are removable, so you can get to your equipment from either side and cable it up while the gear stays mounted. Heavy duty handles make the case easier to lift and carry, and protective corner pieces (sometimes called corner caps) take the knocks that come with regular transport. It is a practical bit of kit for anyone moving audio gear between venues or setting up temporary rigs.

This is the 6U version, but the same range runs in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16U sizes, so you can pick the depth that suits your setup. If you run a mobile PA, a DJ rig or a hire stock, a flightcase like this protects the equipment you have spent good money on. Choose the U count based on how much gear you need to mount and how you plan to lay it out.
