Description

This Citronic guitar lead carries unbalanced signals for guitars, instruments and general audio work. It runs 6.0m from end to end, with a straight 6.3mm mono jack plug at one end and a right-angled 6.3mm mono jack at the other. The right-angled plug sits close to your instrument, which helps keep the connection tidy and reduces strain where the cable meets the socket.

Inside, the cable uses pure copper conductors made up of two lots of 18 strands at 0.16mm each, with cotton reinforcement to keep things sturdy through repeated use. The full shielding helps keep noise and interference out of the signal, so what you play is what you hear. The connections are machine-soldered and the plugs are die-cast, so the lead is built to hold up to regular gigging and rehearsal.

The outer jacket measures 6.8mm across and has a soft-grip, rubberised feel that resists tangling when you coil it away. That anti-tangle finish makes it quick to pack down and set up again. Note that the 6.3mm jack is sometimes called a 1/4 inch jack in the US, but it refers to the same connector. If you need a straightforward, well-made lead for your rig, this one covers the basics and does its job without fuss.
