Description

The Citronic LOSUB-15 is a passive subwoofer built to give you strong low-frequency output from a cabinet that takes up very little room. It uses a downward-angled baffle that creates a pressure zone at ground level and ports the sound forward. This design means the driver doesn't need a large air space behind it, so the enclosure stays compact while still handling plenty of power.

Because the cabinet sits low, you can fit it underneath or alongside furnishings and into narrow spaces where a standard subwoofer wouldn't go. That makes it a practical choice for fixed installations in bars, restaurants and other venues where you want to keep the equipment out of sight. The same low profile helps when you need to save space during transit or storage. Inside is a 380mm (15") driver with a 75mm (3") voice coil and a 100oz magnet, housed in an MDF enclosure with a polyurea finish. Routed handles and a 35mm pole mount socket make it easy to move and position.

Input comes from an amplifier via two Speakon connectors (also written as SPK sockets), with a built-in passive filter that removes unwanted mid and high frequencies. The filter is a 120Hz low pass at 12dB/oct, and the sub runs at 8 Ohms with 600W RMS and 1200W maximum power handling. Frequency response covers 40Hz to 2kHz, with a maximum SPL of 127dB. At 550 x 480 x 360mm and 24kg, it stays manageable for both mobile and installed setups.
