The Citronic HexaPAR is a compact PAR light built around a single 40W RGBW COB LED. That one chip mixes red, green, blue and white to give you an array of 15 colours, so you can wash a wall, a stage or a room in whatever shade suits the night. The retro-style hexagonal housing is a nod to older par cans, but the light source inside is fully modern.

You can run the HexaPAR in a few ways. Built-in auto and static programs let you set it and leave it, while the sound-activated mode reacts to the music for parties. For tighter control, connect it over DMX-512 in 5, 7 or 9 channel modes and dial in exactly what you want from a lighting desk. Master/slave linking is also on hand if you are running more than one unit and want them in step. It ships with a lightweight dual mounting bracket, so you can hang it from a bar or stand it on the floor.

The housing is sturdy and the unit is light at 1.8kg, which makes it easy to rig and pack down. Power runs at 100 to 240Vac with IEC in and out, and DMX uses 3-pin XLR in and out, so daisy-chaining a few together is straightforward. The beam angle is 40 degrees, giving a broad, even spread that works well for background colour wash at parties and events. Dimensions are 159 x 215 x 200mm, and it draws 40W.
