Description
The Citronic HDC153 is a heavy duty moulded equipment case built to protect your gear in transit and storage. We make it from high density ABS material, which is impact-resistant and holds up well to knocks and rough handling. The shallow profile suits smaller kit, and the whole case is designed to keep what's inside safe whether you're on the road or working outdoors.
Inside you'll find pluck foam, which lets you form cut-outs to fit your equipment exactly. You just pull out the pre-cut cubes to shape a snug space around each item, so nothing shifts around while you carry it. The case is fully sealed with an integral gasket and rated IP66, so it keeps water and dust out. A pressure equalisation valve balances internal and external pressure, which matters when you're changing altitude or temperature.
Two lever clamps hold the lid shut and keep the seal tight. To move the case, there's a folding soft-grip handle that sits flush when you're not using it. If you care about your gear, it's worth caring about what carries it. This case gives you a solid, waterproof home for cameras, audio equipment, tools or anything else that needs protecting on the move.

Frequently Asked
What does the IP66 rating mean?
IP66 means the case is fully protected against dust and against powerful water jets from any direction. It keeps your equipment dry in wet conditions, though it isn't rated for full submersion.
How does the foam interior work?
The case is filled with pluck foam, made up of pre-cut cubes. You pull out the cubes to create custom cut-outs shaped around your equipment, so each item sits securely and doesn't move during transport.
What is the pressure equalisation valve for?
The valve balances the air pressure inside and outside the case. This is useful when you travel by air or move between different temperatures, and it makes the case easier to open after those changes.
How is the case carried?
It has a folding soft-grip handle that stays comfortable in the hand and folds flat when not in use, so it doesn't get in the way when the case is stored or stacked.
What material is the case made from?
The shell is moulded from high density ABS, which is impact-resistant and hard-wearing. Combined with the sealed gasket and lever clamps, it gives strong all-round protection.
What kind of equipment suits this case?
The shallow HDC153 works well for smaller items such as cameras, microphones, audio gear, tools and other sensitive equipment that needs waterproof and impact protection.
