Description

We put this Citronic fast fit clamp together for anyone who needs to hang lighting fixtures, effects and AV gear on standard truss or tubing. It fits tubes from 48 to 51mm in diameter, which covers most common stage and event rigging, and the quick-locking design lets you get things up and down without a long-winded setup. It comes finished in black for a clean look on a truss (or truss/trussing, if you use the fuller term).

The clamp is supplied with everything you need to fix it in place: an M10 bolt, a washer, a spring washer and a wing nut. That means you can attach your fixture straight away rather than sourcing parts separately. The working load limit (WLL) is 250kg, so it handles heavier heads and effects units as well as smaller washes and pars, giving you room to build a rig with a mix of equipment.

At 30mm wide, it sits neatly on the tube without taking up much space, so you can group several clamps close together when the layout calls for it. The quick-fit mechanism is meant for fast changes on the day, whether you are loading in, adjusting a plot or striking a show. As always, check the load rating of your truss and any safety requirements for your venue before rigging, and use a safety bond alongside the clamp where required.
