Description
The Citronic DSM26 is a digital speaker management system that brings together crossovers, EQ and limiters for multi-amplifier and speaker setups. It lets the sound system designer control the inputs to each power amplifier accurately, giving a matched output suited to each speaker enclosure and its surroundings. With two inputs and six outputs, it sits at the heart of a PA rig, handling everything from a basic setup to a demanding sound reinforcement job.
Processing runs on a 96kHz, 32-bit floating point DSP for professional quality resolution. Each input offers 8-band shelving or parametric EQ along with phase and gain correction, while each output has an 8-band parametric EQ, an adjustable limiter, delay up to 650ms and fully programmable high-pass and low-pass filters. Crossover types include Linkwitz-Riley, Bessel and Butterworth. Every input and output is controlled independently, so you can tailor each amplifier channel to its speaker.
You can work from the front panel directly, or connect over USB using the software supplied for Windows XP (PIII 500, 128MB RAM) or higher. Control can also be shared across a LAN through the rear panel RJ45 connector, which suits remote speaker setups spread through a building. Frequency response runs 20Hz to 20kHz, power consumption stays under 25W, and the 1U rack unit measures 482 x 44 x 220mm and weighs 3.19kg. It runs on 115/230Vac mains via an IEC inlet.

Frequently Asked
How many inputs and outputs does the DSM26 have?
It is a 2-input, 6-output speaker management processor. Every input and output is controlled independently, so each amplifier channel can be set up for its own speaker.
What crossover types are available?
The DSM26 offers Linkwitz-Riley, Bessel and Butterworth filters, with fully programmable high-pass and low-pass filters per output.
Can I control it from a computer?
Yes. It connects via USB using the included PC software, or over a network using the rear panel RJ45 (LAN) connector for remote control.
What software is supplied and what does it need?
PC software is included and runs on Windows XP (Pentium III 500, 128MB RAM) or higher.
What EQ and limiting does it provide?
Inputs have 8-band shelving or parametric EQ with phase and gain correction. Outputs have 8-band parametric EQ, an adjustable limiter, and delay up to 650ms.
What are the dimensions and power supply?
It is a 1U unit measuring 482 x 44 x 220mm and weighing 3.19kg. It runs on 115/230Vac, 50/60Hz via an IEC inlet, drawing under 25W.
