Description

The Citronic D41000 is a quad digital power amplifier that delivers 4 x 1000Wrms across four independent speaker outputs. It sits in a lightweight 1U rack-mountable format, so it fits neatly into permanent installs or mobile rigs without adding much weight to your flight case. An energy-efficient switch-mode power section and class-D circuit provide power on demand, and proprietary cool guide technology keeps temperatures stable for dependable operation.

Each pair of output channels can be parallel switched or bridged, so you can run the amplifier as a quad, stereo or 2.1 system to suit the job. Switchable high and low pass filters give you further control: channel A has a switchable 120Hz low-pass filter for subwoofers, while channels C and D carry a switchable stereo pair of 120Hz high-pass filters to focus power in full-range cabs working as mid-tops alongside subs. The audio signal path is fully balanced throughout.

Protection is built in across both audio and power sections, with a peak limiter to guard against clipping and keep your speakers safe under load. Inputs use 4 x XLR female (balanced) connectors and outputs are on 4 x speakON-style SPK connectors. Input sensitivity is 0dB = 0.775Vrms, and the amplifier runs from a standard 220-240Vac 50/60Hz IEC mains supply. For audio designers and sound engineers who need a flexible problem solver, the D-series covers a wide range of setups from a single rack space.
