Description

The Citronic CUBA-8W is a full-range passive PA speaker cabinet (loudspeaker enclosure) built for professional sound reinforcement. The wooden MDF enclosure is finished with a hard-wearing polyurea coating and fitted with a powder-coated steel grille, so it stands up well to regular use on the road or in a fixed install. It comes in white and is supplied with a U-bracket for wall or ceiling mounting.

Inside, a custom designed high power LF (low frequency) driver works with an efficient HF (high frequency) compression or dome tweeter and a tuned enclosure to give a balanced output across all frequencies. The cabinet runs at 8 Ohms and is recommended for use with Citronic PLX, D and H-series amplifiers. On the rear panel you get either 2 x Speakon connectors or a single Speakon with 4mm binding posts, depending on the model, so you can link onto additional speakers with ease.

Rigging and placement options are well covered. There is a 35mm pole-mount socket for stand mounting, two side handles for carrying, and multiple M8 flying points inset on the cabinet for suspended use. The rear panel has two different bevels, letting you angle the speaker for ground-level monitoring or set it up as part of a suspended array. It fits into a wide range of live and installed applications where you need dependable high power sound.
